I'm experiencing the problem under WinXP Home.
Under the suspect it was a windows problem, I've tried to access the same share from Win 7, but I've the same problem.
The strange thing is that user1 has a specific folder named as the user and I've not created it. Other user doesn't have this kind of folder. From your message I understand all user should have it.
I'm completly lost....
