Share permissions are not retained
Hi Team,
I bought a 524x (to replace a 314 that turned itself into a brick) - I've installed the disks from the 314 into the 524x (same firmeware version) and the unit boots up OK and all my files are there. However when I am setting up/changing permissions (File access, network access or just plain permissions) and press the "apply" button, the device resets and displays a "Connecting to the Readynas Admin Page" screen - sometimes it cycles through this once, sometimes twice. Either way at the end of the reset, the new permissions have not been retained.
Any suggestions on how to fix this? All ideas welcome.
Thanks,
Norman

Can you send in your logs (see the Sending Logs link in my sig)? - mdgm-ntgrNETGEAR Employee Retired
When I ask for the logs I mean to send in the whole logs zip file.
The suggested logs were a place to start if you wanted to look at it yourself.
What's the version of the readynasos package in packages.log?
