Share Picture Albums
Within my Default Pictures Folder \nas-F6-2F-62\data\Pictures I have many separate Albums but it would appear that there is no method of sharing certain Albums with other people unless its so obvious its staring me right in the face. Using a 314 with the latest 6.2.0 Firmware.

- Sharing via the GUI is done at the share level.
- Not really sure what you mean by that, viewing the Albums and Rht clicking on them a Menu with various Options appears but not Sharing. If I view an individual JPEG there is the Option to email a Link but only to that specific JPEG. Can not work out how to Share a specific Album only the overall Pictures Folder or a single JPEG.
Thank you in advance, Simon - The share is "Pictures". You can control who can see Pictures, but not who can see the subfolders within Pictures.
That is what mdgm means by "done at the share level"
Also sharing is managed by the NAS (via its web ui) and not from Windows. Right-clicking on any network folder (or network drive) in Windows will not give you a sharing choice. You can only share from the actual machine (the NAS in this case).
