Cannot upload pictures
I haven’t messed with my meural in years. It’s been working fine.
Today, I deleted all my old pictures and tried to upload new pictures. Nothing will upload.
I tried both the iPhone app and the website. I can preview any picture but the album uploads always fail with no error messages.
I am currently stuck with a picture frame with the single default pic.

Could it be an issue with my storage? The netgear website shows this for free space: 4.6 GB of 4.0 GB
- LizksesAspirantSame thing happened in October and it took weeks to get resolved which was a netgear fix. We use our board for church announcements and now the October 2024 ones reloaded. They are not saved in my uploads library. I can only shut it down until fixed
If someone from Netgear is watching these threads, can you help me? I don't seem to be able to open up a support ticket because my picture frame is out of warranty.
I keep getting an "invalid token" error message and the photos showing up on my phone or ipad don't make it the my Meural
remove and then re-add canvas. this will fix invalid token. but won't fix photos not making it to canvas I fear.
status on-line. only displays factory samplers.
if I send a photo, or a linked album to Meural from the website or from the app, it says "successfully sent" but nothing changes on the canvas. have tried all clear connections, reboot, re-add canvas, unlink, relink, send new photo, etc. nothing.
annoyingly, I can adjust the brightness level from the app fine. (but it says currently displaying my photo, which is not displaying on the canvas; canvas just dead zombie with factory photos only).

This is exactly what mine is doing. I have complete control and can change configuration, etc. I can even send a photo to the canvas to preview and it shows up for 10 seconds. But as soon as preview is done, it goes back to the factory sample photo. I can never send any of my pictures to the Meural. The uploads go to my storage on the Netgear cloud but I cannot send them to the Meural. It says is sends but nothing shows up.
Same issue. Very frustrating. When will netgear fix? This problem has seemingly been persistent for many since last year
- Same thing here. How do we get netgear to fix the issue. They probably don’t like people like me who don’t subscribe to their playlists and use canvas for their ow art.

I am having similar issues. Specifically, my issue is that the art I have purchased in the past from Meural/NetGear isn't loading. I get a message stating it has been added to canvas, but it never changes. Then, every so often, I get a red message that pops up stating I need to check my internet connection. I have restarted wifi multiple times and checked our connection -- seems to be fine on our end. I haven't tried contacting anyone yet at Meural/NetGear, but I will this week because it's extremely frustrating. We do pay the yearly fee for membership.

Same thing here. I have spoken to them several times and they want me to pay $99 to fix this issue. I will not do that and now I also have a useless frame in my kitchen. After I did the factory reset they suggested, I cannot access to anything in the cloud anymore. I put some images on the sd card and use the canvas as a photo frame.This turned a $500 piece of equipment into a stupid $20 photo frame. Still not worth paying for the support service they want me to spend, so it will stay that way and if they don't fix the problem on their end, I will remove the Meural app from my phone. There are some more important issues in this world to spend my money and energy on at this point.
Based on the last comment, I tried the SD card and finally my Meural to displaying photos again.
Low tech SD card for the win! Netgear, when are you going to get your act together and fix this for us?
it looks like they are finally on it. I received a message from Netgear saying

Same issue happening here! Super frustrating. Thanks to everyone who has reached out to Netgear (I went through that exercise in frustration with the offline issue last fall). Please keep us posted with your progress.
