Slow read/write performance after upgrading 3100 to (4) 3TB

I originally had (4) 2TB drives and could hit 100MB/s read/write speeds to the RAID5 array. I since took out all the drives, performed a factory reset, and installed (4) 3TB drives. Now I can only reach (max) 25-30MB/s read and write. What's going on? Any ideas / suggestions?

Thanks.

What model 3TB drives and what version of RAIDiator were you running when you did the factory reset (you can check by downloading your logs [Status > Logs > Download all logs], extracting the zip contents and looking in initrd.log)?
  • I have the same issue.

    I have a ReadyNas Ultra 6 and just replaced 4 2TB HD's (Hitachi HDS722020ALA330) with 4 3TB HD's (Hitachi HDS723030ALA640) and my speeds dropped from +/- 100 MB/s to 50 MB/s.

I use the x-raid2 and also the latest firmware from May 5, 2011 – Version 4.2.17.

I haven't done a factory reset but used the x-raid2 feature to replace my drives 1 by 1.
But the result is disapointing :(
