slow ReadyNAS Duo v1
Hello everyone, I am trying to find a sollution for a friend of mine, who owns a ReadyNAS Duo v2. He has his own business, and uses the NAS to store his files. Connecting to the NAS from the laptop...

A newer entry level NAS (the RN102) would give 3x the performance for a single user. If there are several simultaneous users, then an RN312 would be the appropriate new model.
I don't think they want to switch to a newer model just yet, since they just acquired this NAS.
Can I just simply update the firmware to the newest version? And where can I find the correct firmware?
I have sent my friend an email to check, just to be certain, which NAS he has, and also to run the Nastester. As soon as I hear back from him, I'll notify you in this topic.
