The SF100D-08 is also 100 mbit. (the "F" stands for "fast ethernet", the SG100D-08 is the gigabit version. You need to be careful on the model numbers...

The NAS is much faster than your network. To get the most out of it, you should buy a gigabit switch to replace the SF100D-08, and connect all your gear to it. You should also check your cables (you need at least cat5e for gigabit).
