Me too. I use address reservation in my router extensively - using reserved addresses for everything that is regularly connected to my network. It simplifies both port forwarding and troubleshooting. And if I need to change equipment, or change to a new IP address space, everything still connects properly without needing to be reconfigured before the changeover.

It gives you all the benefits of static addresses, and all the benefits of DHCP too.
