Some shares accessible, some not
I have my ReadyNAS duo v2 running for three months now, it's in RAID1 with two 2 TB disks. Configuration is pretty much default, no extra shares added only the default ones.
Now as I acces my NAS via run \\MyNAS it comes up with a list of my shares which are:
- Backup
- data
- Documents
-home
-Music
-Pictures
-readydrop
-Videos
Except for the share Pictures are all accessible and I can copy files to the folder/share. When I click on Pictures I get a popup
like this:

So when I enter my PC admin password, nothing happens. When I enter \\MyNas\admin and my admin password, nothing happens. The shares is accessible via the frontview/webinterface and I can upload and download files from it.
I've searched, read many topic but none seem to be the same as the problem I have.
Any suggestions are mostly welcome :D

- ReadySECUREApprenticeDownload your logs and look at your smb log and see who it is trying to auth you as.
Additionally, review your share permissions and re-apply them recursively through the share and that could possibly fix your permission access on that share. - EWZAspirant

You're my hero! It appeared that with the permissions 'allow anonymus access' was not thicked, so when I did that it all worked out fine.
Many thanks. - thatch1AspirantThanks for posting your problem and solution. I was having the same problem on my Mac, the Directory was showing as a "Sharepoint" and I couldn't access any of the contents. I thought I had all the same settings, but I missed the "All Anonymous Access" check box. Once it was checked, I had full access.
Thanks for giving me back my sanity!
