Sonos and ReadyNAS 102 v6.4.1 compatability

I'm using a ReadyNas 102 to serve music files for a Sonos system.

All worked perfectly under firmware 6.4.0, but after upgrading to 6.4.1, Sonos is no longer able to index or see about two thirds of the content (flac and mp3 files).

Downgrading to 6.4.0 snaps everything back into place, and Sonos works as expected and is able to index my entire collection.

the ReadyNas upgrade is the only thing that's changed.

Any ideas what's going on?

I am using my RN 204 to stream files to my Sonos system and it still works after i updated to 6.4.1.

    Do you have Antivirus enabled?

      Well, looks like that's it...

Turned off AV, upgraded to 6.4.1, re-indexed Sonos, and this time, looks like all my music is available.

Once more, we have to sacrifice security to actually get something to work.

There is a known issue with AV and 6.4.1 (and 6.4.2 beta), which Netgear is working on.

In the meantime they've recommended turning it off.
