Still no Thunderbolt?
Well CES 2014 is over, but to my knowledge there is no Netgear NAS announcement, and especially no Thunderbolt connected ReadyNAS. I guess, I will have to ditch my ReadyNAS PRO 6 for a Promise Pega...

Very true. I am a single person office and am quite happy with high speed SAN - mainly for photographic work. I will back it up to the ReadyNAS, however I feel that Netgear could be a significant player in this area if it introduced X-RAID2 in a Thunderbolt box, as Promise can't do on the fly expansion. Thus Netgear would have an edge, at least for a while :)
Re 10G LAN, I am not aware of any desktop PC or Mac with 10G connection so this might be for server farms perhaps?
