Streaming problems
Made a post about this a while ago but it was a bit of a mess as it was written while also investigating the issue. The problem I have is basically an inconsistent very low performance by the ReadyNAS...
It shouldn't be slowing down then.
Have you checked the disk SMART stats? Also, some of the newer seagates have issues, so you might want to post the model number (and the firmware version the drive is running).
