Streaming to PS3 and samsung TV - HELP!
Hi Recently got a readynas rn10400 to replace desktop (spare room now nursery!). Im accessing it via a macbook and trying to stream media to PS3 and samsung TV. im a real beginner and im struggling...

Thanks for coming back so quickly. Sorry i dont think i was very clear, i didnt use plex to begin with. i transferred all the files over to nas and then navigated via readydlna on ps3 and tv. Because i couldnt see all the folders (but could see c. 75% of them) i tried to use plex instead.
i built the plex library but it has been really inconsistent. For example i have navigated (via folder) in the plex app on the tv and some of the files were missing. Streaming was also very slow. Plex has now disappeared from the video menu in ps3 altogether but it was very slow when i could access it via the PS3. For these reasons im not going to bother anymore with plex.
So i'm left wondering why via readydlna some of the files are missing?
