Stuck on "Booting... Installing addon"

I tried to upgrade my Netgear ReadyNAS NV+ v2 4-bay NAS to 5.3.10 (latest version) from the admin page. Now my NAS is stuck on "Booting... Installing addon".

I've tried to do factory reset and OS reinstall. Any tips on what to do? Can't access the adminpage either since NAS is stuck on this every time I boot it :(

    You should still be under warranty (assuming you purchased new), so try support.netgear.com

    Do you have any add-ons installed? I believe this problem can happen e.g. if the MySQL password has been changed.

    I suggest contacting Support. Put in a disk. Boot into Tech support mode.
    Let Engineering come in on SSH, and do some repairs. They will probably remove add-ons.

    Reply with an 8 digit case# for my reference in a few days.

  • Fixed by factory reset again, no idea what happened last time. Thank you for suggestions all :)
