Stuck on "display is page_address+c" after firmware update
Hello, My ReadyNAS 104 prompted me to update the firmware last night. So I agreed, and it has been stuck on the reboot stage for about 14 hours so far. The message on the display is "page_add...

Your 'display is page_address' issue could potentially be related to the mv_xor message that other individuals were getting on their RN104s. We released a 6.5.2 beta yesterday which should address that issue (although too late since you were recommended to restore to factory default). I would recommend always staying up to date on firmware though -- we fix a lot of security stuff in each release and address potential issues you could run into.

Licenses were finally reset.
So now I'm finally back to square one.
And no more firmware updates. Ever.
Thanks to everyone that tried to help.

First time poster
Had recent cause to shut-down my ReadyNAS (Thunderstorm Overhead) but it failed to power off cleanly. As a result I decided to check to see if there was a firmware update. The Admin page says I'm using the latest 6.5.1 but I notice your post says there is a later one available.
Reading some posts from the end of 2015 there seams to have been a similar issue with shut-down back then due to a mismatch on the checksum of the firmware update. Could this have come back in the 6.5.2 beta?

We do a bunch of other stuff now that should prevent against this, so this should no longer be a concern.
6.5.2 is currently in beta. It's available in the beta section of the ReadyNAS community.

Given that I'm not set up to use betas Is there any other reason behind a failed shut-down?
Only Apps installed are SMB & VPN sever. Would these need turning off normally before a shut-down or should they take care of themselves?

Looking back at the log a backup was just started before the shutdown. The log implies this backup was terminated prior to the powerdown. Attempted another tonight and all was well.
Should backups be quit by loggin in before the clean power down can be activated. In which case there is no way to do this from the front pannel if a quick shutdown is required.
Has anyone else experianced this?
Thanks
