1) OK, starting from the top of the screen print, and ignoring the yellow text for now, you will see that RNDuoV2 "Name" does not reflect the device's MAC address, i.e. the Name should be nas-BE-DB-33, not the old name of the previous failing device.
That is the correct identification. All of the configuration of the device, including any name you gave it, is stored on the drives and used by the new unit. The name will be based on the MAC address only if you haven't re-named it.
2) The "Firmware" is 5.3.7, even though 5.3.13 is installed (I believe) on the disks the disks I put into this new (old) device.
3) Finally, the yellow texts. I believe that if I can get FW5.3.13 installed (again) this should clear up the problem.
I cannot see your screen prints until a moderator approves them. You would have been much better off using a blank drive to initialize the NAS and install the same firmware version before you put in your drives. I don't know what logic the V2 units use when there is a difference in versions between what's on the drives and in flash -- the latest version "wins" or flash takes priority. It sounds like it may be the latter. But I think your best next step is to remove the drives with power off, initialize with a blank drive (any size) and do a firmware update. then put your drives back in with power off and see if it now boots.
