Hi StephenB
First of all, I must apologise for not replying earlier but, as you can guess, this is the busiest time of of the year.
Moving on, I will now answer your questions in the order they were asked.
Q1) What error are you getting when you try to access the dashboard?
A1) Using my Win11 PC, with the anti-virus switched off, I get the following error page:
Q2) It sounds like you can access the files on this NAS with SMB/Windows File Sharing. Is that the case?
A2) Yes it is, I can access, add to and play all my plex files. Which is my main reason for buying this (used) RNDuo v2.0 device.
Finally, you wrote: "If it is the case, have you backed up the data on the NAS? I think making sure the data is safe is higher priority than accessing the dashboard and updating the firmware."
I totally agree with your assessment, accessing the dashboard and it's admin facilities is a nicety I can do without, and so I plan to backup my data as soon as I can.
To you StephenB, Sandshark and the rest of the Netgear Community
Have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
Regards
UK Bob

The issue here is that your NAS doesn't support TLS 1.2, and browsers now require it.
You can still access the dashboard using firefox. You need to set security.tls.version.min to 1 (browse to about:config and search for the setting). Note the value it is set to now, before you change it to 1.
Once you are able to access the dashboard, then download and install this add-on:
That will add TLS 1.2 support to the NAS, so you can access it from any browser. Then you can change the security setting in firefox back to the original value.
