Switched ISPs (and router) - Raidar can't find readynas duo
Hi, I recently switched ISPs, and got a new router. The cable tech said it seems that the readyNAS duo is holding the old IP address but I don't know how to confirm this? RAIDar can't find it and it doesn't show up on my network tab in Win7.
I'm not the most network savvy, so I'm not sure where to start. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserOne option is to do an OS reinstall on the duo. That will reset the IP configuration to use DHCP, and will change the admin password back to the factory default (either netgear1 or password, depending on which duo you have).
- FireSnakeAspirantThis won't damage any of the backed up data, correct?
- FireSnakeAspirantSorry, just found the firmware re-install on the faq (which I think is what you're suggesting) and it states I've got nothing to worry about. Will give this a shot, thanks!
- StephenBGuru - Experienced UserGet the current hardware manual for your duo, the procedure is explained a bit more clearly there.
It is always a good idea to have a backup - it shouldn't affect your data volume, but it is still safer.
