Technical support mode password for Netgear NAS

Hi, everybody!   I have recently discovered that my two NAS units (NV+ v1 and Ultra 6) have developed a strange problem, similar on both units and yet I know they are different OS and different CPU...

SSH login user name is root, using the admin password.  SSH must be enabled, of course.  That's a simple config option in OS6 but requires an add-on for the NV+ V1.

Thanks for the reply, but sorry - that is not a reply to my question.

 

I am asking for the username and password for the Technical Support mode (via Telnet), I am not asking about SSH logins.

      Thank you! Problem solved from my side, I logged in and did some cleanup. Cleanup helped.
