"The data type is not supported" avi files on PS3!
I am getting this message only on some avi files i am trying to stream from my Duo. I have read a few thread about this but no real answers. I want to avoid converting these files to say mp4 as it tak...
Not sure what you mean, I am using a wireless connection. The weird thing on my error is that some of the files work, some don't. For instance, I have a folder of Dexter episodes, of 12 episodes in the series, episode 1 shows the "this data type is not supported", episode 2 plays, episode 3 shows the error, episode 4 plays etc. They are all divx avi files, they are all within a mb or 2 of being the same size so I just cannot work out what is causing the error. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
