The NAS rejects W 7 connection request

Hello,

I've just re-installed W7 on my desktop, it was working fine before, but now the connection through the windows file explorer fails straight away.
Nevertheless, it works fine through internet explorer after typing ID and pswd, then I can access shares.
But I want files and directories to be shown normally, not going through IE.

I've been googling for quite a while without success.

Message I get is "Logon failure : account currently disabled"
I've been using this ReadyNas since several years without facing such issue, I've never had to match any account name or password between PC and NAS, but that's what I found on internet, both accounts should match !? Is this right ?

Any advise would be very much appreciated.

    Have you tried changing the LMCompatibilityLevel on your PC?

    Yes I tried all that without success.
    Finally I found the solution, it was effectively a question of account management, my user was not admin on W7, I have no clue how this occured but it was changed from admin to standard user.
    I changed it back to admin and it worked immediately.
    I also matched all accounts, IDs and pswds, but I'm not sure this helped as it was working before without this change.
