Ticket 15997844, Found Bad Disk
I came home from a trip and my NV+ was displaying "FOUND BAD DISK" and the light for drive #4 was flashing. I was not able to access the unit from frontview. I was unable to get the machine to power down. I removed the drive, Seagate Barracuda ES.2, ST31000340NS. I used the Seagate drive tools and the drive is bad. I replaced it with a Seagate ST310005N1A1AS-RK. When I inserted the drive the unit did not do anything. I had to unplug the unit to restart it. During the Booting sequence it again displayed the message, Found Bad Disk." this time there is not a specific drive bay flashing. I have the unit configured to Raid X. I do not have a clue what to do next to get the system back up and running. HELP!!!!!!!!!
