Time Machine and OS X Mavericks
A firmware update is needed to support Time Machine backups from a machine running OS X Mavericks:
ReadyNAS OS: 6.1.4 or later. If you are running older firmware you should be automatically prompted to update when you next open the Dashboard.
RAIDiator-x86: 4.2.26 or later: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=75176
RAIDiator-arm: 5.3.10 beta or later: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=148&t=72267
RAIDiator (Sparc): 4.1.13 or later: http://www.readynas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=74130
If you have issues backing up even after updating the firmware try toggling the Time Machine service off then on again in Frontview/Dashboard.
