Time Machine backups gone
Hello all,
Hoping this is a simple question.
I have a ReadyNAS Duo Firmware 4.1.10 connected wirelessly to MacBook Pro (10.7.5), over AFP. Jumbo frames is OFF. I really only use this for Time Machine, and storing some videos and pics.
I have Time Machine turned on in NAS.
A few days ago I noticed the backup was trying to backup the entirety of my computer (360G) instead of just the normal partial backup. It said it would take 200 days it was going so slow. So I stopped it, and today was investigating. I checked the firmware was up to date which I think it is (4.1.10, automatic firmware updates is on). I rebooted the NAS and did a volume scan. The logs don't show anything weird. I turned off TIme Machine and restarted the computer. Now I turn on Time Machine again and started it. This time it is trying to backup everything, but says it will take 3 days. So whatever was making the terrible connnection is better although I don't know if 3 days for 360 GB is good or not.
What I can't figure out is where all my backups are! I look in NAS through Finder and the backup folder is empty. I could have sworn earlier the sequential backups were there. Maybe I am looking in wrong spot? My media files appear to be fine, but either all my backups are gone for some reason, or Time Machine can't find them. Not sure about the 3 day backup either.
Any help would be great. Maybe I just need a whole new backup not sure. Would be nice if it wouldn't take 3 days though maybe that is how long it will take, haven't done a first time backup yet.

- sdavis81AspirantOk, so another session of searching and no I remember that you can't see the sparsebundle unless signed in to CIFS. So I turned that service on and did that and I can see it there. Still not sure why it is trying to backup the whole file.
