Have you tried disabling the shared time machine, then re enabling it (in the Web GUI)?

Yeah, I've been getting this as well, and trying to get to the bottom of it. It is annoying as anything. Thankfully I have a couple of Time Machine backups, so I just copy one of my other backupx to the NAS and so retain most of my backup history.
