Time Machine Corruption on 314 with 6.1.4

I'm migrating from an NV+ to a 314. My Time Machine backups keep having problem. Initial backups complete, but frequently new backups are required:

After upgrading to 6.1.4, I've reset the device to factory settings twice, I've re-created volumes 3 times, and each time this would start to happen. Any suggestions?

I can mount the sparsebundle without errors.
