It does appear that you would to verify if time machine support on Readynas is more reliable compared to old/legacy readynas devices. The issues bugs and the fix of old/legacy where all considered in the design for the new series of readynas device. Also new series of NAS uses newer OS and added enhancement for MAC OS. We cannot deny though there are still end users go to forum, chat and phone for support for different concerns..
