Time Machine setup help
I have an Ultra 6 with two free bays. I am wondering if it is possible to add one (or two) drives to the spare bay/s but keep them independent from the main RAID and dedicate it/them to Time Machine ...
That is a fair point regarding the SATA connectors. I also noticed there is an option for a USB share - so could I create the Time Machine backup on a USB attached drive ? This could then be stored in the safe and, as you suggest, duplicated within the Ultra 6 ?
