The only change should have been a Bonjour change. OSX 10.9 for some reason change the requirements, and now the normal AFP (_afpovertcp) name must exactly match the Time Machine (_adisk) name. So we just added an extra discovery entry to make that happen. In limited testing here, it worked fine after this change. But the change did not touch the actual AFP operation in any way.
