I tried the fixes and still having issues. Mine will go to prepare disk then start the back up but then it will stop because the NAS (600 Sparc) will restart and go into "check" that takes hours. It only does this with Time Machine, I tried just disabling time machine and it doesn't have any issues or do the restart thing either only when trying to use time machine.
