Apologies if this has been covered before. I can only find issues with people trying to back up to Time Machine. I'm trying to restore/backup from Time Machine.
My MacBook Pro was stolen and I now have a new one running:
Maverick 10.9.1
and:
Ultra 4 with Raidiator 4.2.25
I'm a complete IT novice. So please bare with me! My finder can see and access the Nas. RAIDar can see and access the Nas.
When using Migration Assistant the Nas is visible, but when I enter the log in details it appears to accept them, but then do nothing.
When accessing Time Machine the Nas is visible, but when I attempt to log in I get the following:
"Time Machine can’t access the backup disk “ReadyNAS.
The operation couldn’t be completed. (OSStatus error 2.)"
Can anyone please tell me what else I need to do. Thanks in advance.
