I don't remember if it was powered on or not? I think I turned it off before I removed the disks, not sure about reinserting them.
Looking at your guide I have the Duo V1 based on the layout of the rear. What is the significance of this?
"wipe disks when reinserted" WTF! What kind of idiot would have a feature such as this?? I mean I think the whole purpose of these damn things is to preserve data loss in case one disk fails you can swap it out or have a back up. If you had data backed up on another disk and put it in NAS, what good would it do to wipe it, (especially without warning)
All I know is that the disk worked that night. the next day it couldn't find the file folders.
What do I need to do to figure this out?? I am really stressed.
