Ok I will give that a shot. Where do I find a suitable USB adapter for that disk? Just amazon?
I still have Disk 2 that I removed because of the "increasing bad sectors" warning. Can I put it back into the NAS alone by itself, and try to read it? (without wiping the damn thing of course!)
Still can believe whoever at NetGear thought it would be a good idea to automatically wipe anything. Seriously, who would think that was good functionality to add?!
