Turning off the redundant option for more disk space
I have two 1TB drives in my Ready NAS Duo. Is it possible to combine the drives so it is 2TB and no mirroring?
Yes but the disks will need to be wiped to do this. If one disk fails all data lost so better to create 2x1TB volumes so if one disk fails only the volume on that disk will be lost.
