RS700S Firmware Version 1.0.10.8 IoT Option Missing
So looking at the change logs for the RS700 you added a new feature,
- Added an IoT network function in the web user interface."
But no matter where I look, I cannot find this option anywhere. Is it because smart connect is disabled?
I updated manually over 1.0.9.16.
IoT is under Advanced > Advanced Setup > Wireless Settings. Then you’ll see a tab for IoT Network.

Not seen under Basic tab/Wireless settings anywhere or maybe under Advanced tab/Advanced Wireless settings area?

Finally found it, thanks. Strange place to put it. Surely under the wireless setup page as a new tab or just added to the list of other wireless options on that page would make more sense.

Hope it works for you.
Enjoy.

Sadly, based on my preliminary testing, the IoT function is kind of worthless. It doesn't appear to create a dedicated network for IoT devices that CANNOT access my main network. It assigns IP addresses from the main network and after testing it from a computer, I can completely access all my network resources from it. Isn't the point to be isolated from the main network much like the guest network can be?
Ideally, yes, but if they completely isolate that from the main network, then things may not work properly. Even without the network being completely isolated, I just find having a dedicated IoT network for 2.4GHz and 5GHz using WPA2 much more convenient as I can force my main 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks to only use WPA3 and use the IoT one for devices that won't work with WPA3.

This could be achieved with a guest network too.

the IoT network is NOT isolated from the main WLAN. Due to dependancies on IoT and there supporting software apps, those applications installed on mobile devices like phones or pads that mainly connect to the main WLAN, should there be any form of block in between the IoT and Main WLAN, then the IoT apps would not work right connecting to there IoT devices. So this is why the IoT and main WLAN are not isolated. Intended design. Only the Guest Network is isolated from the main network. Same thing seen on Orbi systems.

Is the IoT network 2.4 Ghz only or dual band? Isolation would remove the access of IoT devices from the main network, which would be unintuitive.

On every other product, the IoT network supports 2.4G and 5G and the user can enable/disable them independently.
