Ultra 6 - Dead drive, Replaced but won't Rebuild #24999085

Just for anyone else that gets stuck a very skilled sys admin friend (tired of my moaning I think :D) remoted into the box from where he lives in another city (I opened port in router my end and gave admin access - I have known him ages so I was ok with this. He had actually remoted to my pc a few weeks ago to try from there with no luck).

Anyway some twiddling later he has it fixed.

Special thanks to MDGM for keeping on trying to help via PM. I did buy the second disk and had the same fail after trying with that and was waiting to hear back from MDGM when his timezone caught up with mine when out of the blue my friend offered to help. It was looking rather bleek so I am really happy it is now fixing. I will post up his notes for others when I get them.
