You will not be able to make the volume read/write. Even if you use methods found via Googling to do so on a generic BTRFS system, the NAS will immediately make it read-only again. Backup and either destroying the volume and re-creating it or factory default are your only options, with default being best. If you don't already have a place to backup your files, now may be the time to look at a newer NAS, then retain your ReadyNAS as backup to that one.
As StephenB has previously stated do not restart your NAS until you've backed up your data. Doing so could cause your volume to be declared dead or even the NAS to not fully boot, which will add a lot to the necessary steps to recover your data. And there is no way it will fix the problem.
