Unable to connect to ReadyNAS Admin page
Hello and Merry Christmas. I recently installed SABnzbd and couchpotato, and a few days in... they went offline. Now I can't connect to the main Admin page either. I get that splash screen wit...

Hi Jen, yes that's correct. And yes, they are on the same network. This was all working fine until I installed a couple more apps onto the NAS recently.
When I press the power button, the display screen remains blank. I've tried this several times over the past few days.
The NIC link lights were green, but the other lights (orange?) were off. I think this means no network traffic?
So I decided to reboot my Dell ethernet switch. When I did this, the display jumped to life with "no IP address" (or something to that effect). And then when I looked again a few minutes later, the power button was flashing and the display reads "powering off goodbye". It's been like that for 15 minutes now, so I assume it's stuck?

Hello twc,
So, NAS admin page and share are inaccessible and at the same time, RAIDar does not see it?
This computer is connected to the same network where the NAS is, right? Please check on the NAS display screen if it shows an IP address. If not, check the physical connection between the NAS and router/switch. Make sure the LED for the port on the router where the NAS is plugged in is lighting up.
Regards,
twc

I just got an email sent by the NAS about an hour ago:
Subject: ReadyNAS Alert Message (Tonys_NAS System: Notice) The system is shutting down.
It is still stuck on "powering off goodbye".

So it managed to shut down (after some time), and now seems to have powered up okay again.
The admin page and shares are now accessible.
Any idea what went wrong? How can I tell if the new apps caused this?
Here's the log:
Wed Dec 28 2016 19:12:31 System: ReadyNASOS background service started. Wed Dec 28 2016 16:52:47 System: The system is shutting down. Wed Dec 14 2016 22:04:44 System: Application SABnzbd is installed successfully. Wed Dec 14 2016 20:36:24 System: Application CouchPotatoServer is installed successfully.
Oh, and it looks like CouchPotatoServer can't start. It says "Application failed to initialize. Empty resource error. Bad NML call."
Should I be using Couchpotato2 instead?

Hello twc,
I could be one of the apps, maybe the Couchpotato causing it that it has been trying and trying then affected the NAS to boot up completely.
Did you uninstall it already?
Anyway, we also strongly recommend to always backup all data.
