Unable to switch from 100Mb to Gigabit on Readynas Duo

It should automatically negotiate the speed maybe thats why it does not show Gigabit speed but i am not sure as i dont have a Duo v1,
but i have the same router as you so if you check the led's on the front panel of the router it shows what speed devices are connected at.
LAN ports 1–4
• Solid green. The LAN port has detected a 1,000 Mpbs link with an attached device.
• Solid amber. The LAN port has detected a 10/100 Mbps link with an attached device.
• Off. No link is detected on this port.
