Upgrade files to go from 4.2.31 toOS6 on a Ultra?
I am looking for the files to upgrade an Ultra 6 to OS6. None of the links in previous threads work. TIA
Marc_V That worked, thanks.
I am aware of the non support. Buying a RN428 and want to see how the new OS works.

Working links are also here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Using-your-ReadyNAS-in-Business/ReadyNAS-R4toR6-download-links/m-p/1649129#M150271
Maybe you also wish to check if the bios is up to date (which needs to be updated separatly and didn´t comes with the firmware upgrade!). I performed that after the OS6 upgrade (from 4.x) which solved some issues for me. So you might try to wish to do the same. The URL I used for the ReadyNAS Bios Upgrade process is: https://www.admin-enclave.com/en/articles/linux/484-upgrade-the-bios-from-an-readynas-device.html

It's simpler just to download http://www.readynas.com/download/addons/x86/4.2/BIOS_Update_Package_0.5-x86.bin and install it as an add-on. This should be done before you convert the NAS to OS-6.
