Urgent - Can't write files to internal folders with write permission

I have several shares and using almost exclusively with Macs and Android deives at home. I've updated to the latest 6.7.4 release, but I think this was happening before the upgrade. I'm able to open the shares (AFB or SMB) on my Macbook Pro but I can't write files to subfolders within the share. I didn't hange access permissions of the shares. How can I clear this up? I can't seem to modify the folder permissions either. I'm trapped. Please help! If I can provide additional info, please let me know what I can supply. Thanks.

UPDATE: I found on a share the Settings button and under File Access, am performing the Reset of permissions, hoping that will fix my problem. I hope it doesn't mess up my files!
