USB backup knocks ReadyNAS offline
Hi- A couple of weeks ago I updated the firmware on the ReadyNAS. I can run Symantec System Recovery 2013 from my server to the NAS just fine but if I backup files from the NAS to an external hard dr...
If that does not resolve it you may wish to try downgrading to 6.4.0 to see if that resolves the problem.

download the zip from http://kb.netgear.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/29938/~/readynas-os-version-6.4.0 and extract the image file.
Then install it using the web ui (system->settings has a manual install control).
