User and group broken permissions

I don't reproduce this on my nas.
Users/groups get correct permissions.
Just in case, when you look at the user, you see the primary group, not all the groups. When you look at the groups, you see all users. Are you sure that your users are not in both groups?
I have created testgroup, testuser (users, testgroup), testuser2. I have created a testshare with r/w to users, r/o to testgroup.
Testuser gets r/w as expected.
Testuser2 gets r/o as expected.
Users/groups get correct permissions.
