Using an old disk for x-RAID
Hi I have a seemingly basic question, but I can't seem to find any answer that covers it completely. I've upgraded my readynas duo v1 from: 1: 500GB disk 2: 1TB disk To: 1: 1TB disk 2: 1T...
If you hot-add the disk (add while NAS is on) that should happen. It wouldn't hurt to connect the disk up to a PC and delete the partitions off it before adding it into the Duo though.
