Using Mac - Getting "Unable to access remote path"
I'm trying to backup some shares from my iMac. I can get to it fine from my windows machine and when I setup a backup job and click test connection it comes back fine.
When I start the job it fails... here's the logs:
Job: 007
Protocol: cifs
Source: //192.168.0.127/myusername
Destination: [Backups]/1ST-FLOOR/myusername
Backup failed. Tue Aug 16 11:03:08 EDT 2011.
Reason for failure:
Unable to access remote path //192.168.0.127/myusername.
Is this the right way to backup a mac share? Should I be doing something else here?
TIA!

- ewokNETGEAR ExpertIf you download the system logs and look at the log for the backup job, you should be able to see specific error message for files where the backup failed.
