You will need to open an on line tech support case. Once you have the case number, edit the heading to include the case number in case a Jedi is browsing the forums. I am assuming there is not current and complete backup for in that case you could do a factory default which wipes the disk and re-installs the OS. There have been many problems posted with apt-get, mostly about upgrading (cannot be don apparently).
