Ok, I just bought a Readynas Duo (for backups). It came with 4.1.6 and I didn't upgrade it to 4.1.7; guess what? the packages work!
I was able to do apt-get install e2fslibs-dev without any problem.
So now I have the following questions:
- is it possible / advisable to downgrade my Readynas NV+ to 4.1.6 in order to install e2fslibs-dev and is it possible to do without doing a factory reset and erasing all the data that is already on it?
- it would be better if the packages were upgraded in order to work with 4.1.7; where can I ask that this be done?
