Various Readynas Firmwares - Update / Feature Request or Bug fix

Haven't used this new Forum so hopefully I'm posting in the correct place.
I notice it's roughly been a year since the last firmware update for what seems to be called Legacy products. (Sparc based units 1100, NV+ and x86 based units 1500,2100)
Not sure if one is due , or whether that was our last update.
Sparc Based Firmware
Anyway when either the 1100 or the NV+ is doing a quota check during boot, the NV+ shows a percentage complete for the quota check on the LCD, however the raidar software just shows it stuck at File System Check, 100% . Newer models seem to keep raidar informed of the progress during a quota check. Is there any possibility the next firmware update for the sparc based systems this functionality could be added. With the 1100 it is difficult to tell whether the quota check is actually getting somewhere or if your unit has hung mid boot.
x86 based firmware (1500,2100 etc)
Is there any chance the exim software that the 2100 uses could be updated to version 4 or later, the unit currently uses version 3 to send alerts by email of system events, which is somewhat dated.

We will only see bug fixes and security fixes, they won't add or enhance features on legacy firmware.
I think this almost certainly applies to the second request you make (in other words, they won't update it) The first request- I suppose is not working as it should, are you using the new raidar?
In relation to point 1.
Raidar 4.3.8 - during the file system check phase displays the message "file system check, x%" where x counts up correctly.
It then sticks with the message either "file system check, 99% or 100%" during the quota check.
Raidar 6.0.0 - during the same phase just shows "checking filesystem" with no percentage complete.
During the quota check it shows a message "checking quota" but no percentage complete.
This is for the Sparc based units, I believe it did correctly work at one stage for both phases. I've 6 sparc based units and several more on another site.
Point 2 - again have 7 units of 2100 on one site.
It's possible for a misconfigured DNS server to prevent sending of emails to certain addresses, when sending to multiple addresses, exim 4 fixes this by allowing you to state where an email should be sent when the DNS server doesn't return a MX record for a domain. You could in a strange way say this is a security issue if someone was to deliberately misconfigure a DNS server in order to activate the bug in exim 3 thus preventing the NAS unit crying for help, but i'll admit it's a bit far fetched.
