Hi,
And thanks for the advice which I shall certainly action. I'm not sure it's the whole story though because:
NAS > Switch > iMac
and
NAS > Router > Switch > PC
Works well.
NAS > Router > Switch > iMac
Doesn't. I'm minded that something in the router is the issue here. Upgrading to a gigabit network would be a very good thing but at the moment I'm getting a kilobit network not the megebit network I should...
Also - would a gigbit switch improve anything with the existing router in place?
