Very slow performance on OS X
Hi there everyone,
I really hope someone can help. I've recently bought a Mac Mini running OS X Lion and am having severe performance issues with copying files to and from my ReadyNas Duo. Transfer speeds are absolutely fine in Windows on other machines, and on the Mac itself, but in Lion or Mountain Lion it takes a good 10 minutes before the "Preparing to copy" message changes into the duration, and then copying less than 1GB is saying it'll take 8 hours. Trying to copy 7GB from another folder on the NAS, the "preparing to copy" message never disappears.
Should I have my NAS configured in a certain way to best work with a Mac?
Thanks.

Really wish I'd found this before I sent the machine off to be fixed a week and a half ago :P
